Turn and tilt the motor in a direction such that the spindle comes in front. Now tighten grub screw opposite to hinge thumb screw to go inside the notch on hinge to the full extent and then loosen it by half a turn to control tilting both ways. Now mount the fan on hook previously fixed on wall.

Unscrew blade clamping plastic nut from the spindle and back guard clamping plastic nut from front false cover of the motor.

Place back guard in position on front false cover using two locating pegs on front false cover. Tighten fully the back guard by guard clamping plastic nut.

Slide blade assembly onto the spindle upto the spring dowel on spindle and located into the slot at back side of blade hub. Now tighten the blade by blade fixing plastic nut in anti-clockwise direction as it has left hand thread.

Place front guard pre-assembled with plastic clamping ring on back guard in position and see that the V-groove in plastic ring gets located onto the vertical spoke of back guard such that automatically ‘Orient’ logo on the guard trim becomes horizontal.

Press front guard on to the back guard such that the plastic ring on front guard starts holding the back guard gradually along the periphery through a fit in the plastic ring starting from the top. Lock the plastic lever at the bottom of plastic ring. Now the fan is ready to be switched on.

To change the speed of the fan push knob on bracket ‘O’ being off and 1, 2, 3 are different speeds of fan.

Oscillation - Press the push switch on bracket. Any particular non-oscillating angular position can be achieved through push switch on and off operation. While switching off the fan in oscillating mode, one must switch off the oscillation control push switch also. Otherwise the fan keeps oscillating with blades stationary.

Tilting - Hold the guard, loosen hinge thumb screw, tilt the fan to the desired position and tighten hinge thumb screw.
