The Quality Management Systems for Design and Manufacture of Ceiling Fans at the Faridabad factory (near New Delhi) and at the Kolkata factory, have been certified by Det Norske Veritas (DNV) as per ISO 9001.

Orient Fans has been given approval by different statutory authorities for exporting fans to their respective countries.

The South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) approves model Summerking among the Ceiling Fan models for exports to South Africa.

Model Deluxe Decor from the range of Ceiling Fan models is approved by Saudi Arabian Standards Organization (SASO) for exports to Saudi Arabia.

Approval of Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL) for Ceiling Fans has been obtained in order to enable exports to United States of America.

The company manufactures fans with operating Voltage range from 110 volts, 120 volts, 127 volts, 220 volts and 240 volts at supply frequency.

Ceiling fans come with a pressure die-cast motor cover and are provided with Double Twist Angle (DTA) or Plain Blades which are made of either Aluminium Alloy or Zintek.

Down rod sizes vary from 220 mm to 600 mm depending upon buyer requirements.

Regulators are available in Choke type, Resistance type and Condenser type.

The Portable Fans (Table, Wall-Mounted, Pedestal and Multi-Utility) have bodies made of Aluminium Alloy, Steel or Plastic, depending upon the model, and come with blades made of Aluminium Alloy, Steel, SAN or PPCP.

Packing

Ceiling Fan motor is individually packed along with top and bottom canopies, down rod with hanger assembly and regulator, while the Blade set is separately packed.

Table Fans come in single and twin packing. In twin packing, two sets of stands and motors are packed together, while the guard and blade are packed separately.

Wall-Mounted fans come in single packing.

Pedestal Fans come in single, twin and triple packing. In twin packing, base, motor and stand are packed together, while the guard and Blade are separately packed. In triple packing, motor, base and stand are packed together, while guard and blade are separately packed. Base is put into a separate packing.

However, in order to suit requirements of buyers and optimize container stuffing, the company is fully equipped to develop tailor-made packing systems.
